The U.S. President Barak Obama extends holiday wishes for Deepavali, the festival of lights.
After signing an Executive Order on October 14, 2009 restoring the White House Advisory Commission and Interagency Working Group to address issues concerning the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, the President observed Deepavali in White House.
