Many countries around the world including Sri Lanka, are celebrating "Mother's Day" today...............but, not in my own native land..........especially in Vanni.

Simply having children does not make one a mother.

We all know what’s going on in the island of Sri Lanka.

This is a battle that Tamil mothers, have a duty to fight and our weapons are not guns and swords, but are our voice and fasting.

It is time rise up in unity and support for our own children and our neighbor’s children and our nations' children.

It is time to rise up in unity and light a light against the darkness of this world.

It is time to rise up in unity and boldly approach the UNO and intercede on behalf of our children.

Friends, do not send flowers/ Mother's Day cards to your mothers................
Please save our mothers.......and all others................suffering there....in our motherland.

My motherland is being washed with blood , There is no one to wipe the tears of our children, why is the world watching this?

It is sad that the International world is yet to act.

This world is filled with 90% of cruel, heartless, selfish, jelouse, cunning and decietful people. Especially most of the World Leaders. I don't believe that still the UN can't do anything to stop the genocide on the Tamils. Most of the leaders are all bunch of actors tring to show the world that they are doing something to help. But blames Russia and China for defending Sri Lanka. Those silent watchers and actors, please look at the people who are suffering to death. Be true human and do something immediately. Put yourselves in their shoes and as if that your family and children are being brutaly attacked, you will definetely will find a way to end this carnage. There is alot of evidence against the Sri Lankan government that it is behind the killing of thousands of innocent people and how badly they treat the people in the internment camps. So far some of the reports the Tamils networks have been saying have been proven true by the channel 4 report. When the Tamils network informed of all the atrocities done by the SLA and GOSL no one believed but instead put the report aside stating that it is another propaganda mission of the LTTE. But almost all in the UN and World governments beleived all the propagandas of the GOSL as true and even blamed the LTTE of using human as sheild.Without proof I will never believe that LTTE is using our people as human shield. Because the LTTE combatants are no one but are also the family member of the civilians who are trapped in the war zone. Would you want to kill your own family members or even hurt them? 1st How do you expect the people to surrender themselves to GOSL, to whom that they all know that they will be separated from their families and tortured to death. People who know the history of Sri Lanka Knows all the wonders that the GOSL commits agaist the Tamils. 2nd Many came out of the zone only when they could not take the suffering of them and their family going through hunger and had lake of medicine to treat their injuries. 3rd how to come out when the SLA continued bombing and shelling the "safety zone".
Only when the firing was on halt that those who can't bear the famine they left the place. 4th if LTTE is realy stopping people from leaving how did these people leave especialy you can see that these people who left the place recently was all very weak and could hardly walk for a long distance. 5th If truely LTTE was stopping the civilian people we should remember that there used to be around 250000 people at the first place and among them there were only about a thousand LTTE combatants. would it be dificult for these civilians to stop the LTTE combatants from using them as sheld.When I think all these I don't believe the aligations of the GOSL which the UN and the world started to believe. From what I see the GOSL is the one using our people as human sheild to attack the combatants and whenever there is pressure coming from our diaspora their killing increases in numbers in order not to waste time. By asking the LTTE to surrender their weapons only make us diaspora suspect your intentions on ceassfire may be a way to attack the LTTE. We diaspora don't beleive that LTTE is terrorists. It is they who have been all thease while fighting for our peoples rights. We diasporas don't accept the aligations on LTTE as all of it were made by GOSL to make the world hate LTTE and to make the world support it's secret genocide on Tamils. So before you approve those aligations please send your international medias to find out the truth. Please tell us, did any of the world leaders never made any political decisons which in the eyes of onlookers as big mistakes. If they could do that then why are you taking it very big when you all are taking Rajabaksays genocide on Tamils lightly from the day one. LTTE is not a terroris organization. So lift the ban on it. the real terrorist is the GOSL from the time Sri Lanka got independence. So stop blaming the ones who are sacrificing their lifes to defend our people. Stop the Genocide for God Sake.
I thank those non -Tamil Leaders in some of the Organisations for pressurising the UN to help our people. God will bless those who are truly doing your best out of humanity.
