[Urgent Appeal] There is an emergency rally organized for today Monday (05.11.09) at the Lafayette Park in front of the White House at 9 AM.
The organizers appeal for all concerned to attend at the event, as this has been the day of the greatest carnage of Tamils within a span of hours.
CTR was interviewing someone from the ground in Vanni who reports 3018 killed at last count and at least another 3500 critically wounded in the past day of heavy weapon usage.
