Tamils of North America (Canada and USA) are planning a Mega-rally in front of United Nations building in New York City on Friday, April 17. Organizers want to make this as the largest Tamil's rally in the USA and expect full cooperation from all. Free lunch will be served.
Organizers said that, Tamils from all over the world, Tamil Nadu, Malaysia, South Africa and Mauritius are conducting several rallies, Self immolations, processions, Human chains, walks, debates, Speeches, meetings, hungers strikes, prayers, writing e-mails and letters, meeting representatives and media, writing articles in news papers, displaying slogans in our clothing and vehicles, distributing pamplets, etc daily. Because of this continuous effort we are getting more and more world's attention to our Eelam struggle. In very near future we are going to see the turning point.
This mega-rally is important, since it is
- in-front of the United Nations, in New York City - the world's capital.
- in the USA - The best democracy in the world (elected a minority (14%) Black as President) (white-66%)
- in the USA - With a newly elected "reasonable" leaders and favorable policy changes.
- in the USA - With Barack Obama - the best President, to understand the feeling of an oppressed people
- in the USA - With Hillary Clinton - the best Secretary of State, to understand the feeling of the oppressed
- in the USA - The one and only Super power of the world.
- in the USA - The only country has the power to go against India and solve our problems.
- in the North America - Which has canada - The country of the world's largest Tamil Diaspora
- organized at a time - at the peak of Tamil's participations and demonstrations all over the world.
